-:Union Public Service Commission (UPSC):-
Commission
provides a Public Commission for the Union, a Public Service Commission for
each state or a joint Public Service Commission for a group of states.

The
appointment is done by the President if there should be an occurrence of the
association or Joint Commission and by the Governor of the State on account of
a State Commission.
Tenure of Chairman and Members of UPSC:
The
chairman and members of the commission hold workplace for a term of six years
or till they attain the age of sixty five years, whichever is earlier. The
members will resign in between the term by addressing their resignation to the
president. They'll even be removed by the president following the procedure
provided within the constitution.
Duties and Functions of UPSC
The Duties and Functions of the UPSC are discussed below:
(i) It
conducts examinations for appointments to the services of the union, which

(iii) Members
of the UPSC can be removed by the President on the charges of misbehavior, if

The annual report of the UPSC
concerning its performance is submitted to the president. The president then
